Clos de Vougeot & Nuits St. George

Our first day excursion is a visit to the Chateau of Clos de Vougeot, headquarters of the Chavalier de Tastevin whose special label is awarded annually to the finest Cote d'Or, the finest wine in Burgundy.
Their wine cellar:
Their wine press:

And their clock, a sundial:
After touring the Chateau we visit the famous wine village of Nuits St. George where we are able to taste wines of the Cote d'Or.  Our hosts took notice and then served the wines that we liked best to us on the barge in the coming days.

Dinner that evening was at a local Irish restaurant.
Evening comes to the barge.
