Food on the barge

Here are a few pictures of some of the food served on the barge.  We had all breakfasts, always fresh fruit, rolls, cereal, croissants, baguettes, etc., and most lunches on board as well as three dinners.  The cruise also included two lunches "in town" such as the wine tasting lunch discussed before.  We ate three evening meals, at our expense, off of the boat at places arranged by and chauffeured by Paul, including one Michelen starred restaurant.  More on that later.

This is just some of the "barge food".

"Nibbles" at "appertif" time.
Annie's salmon with leeks on our "welcome aboard" dinner the first night on the barge.
Followed by the "to die for" cheese course.  I could have started here and still been happy.
And for dessert, chocolate mousse and macaroons.
And this was just the first meal.

Quiche for lunch after visiting Testavins and wine tasting in Nuits St. George.
Bev took her dessert later in the afternoon on the upper deck.
More nibbles during appertif time.
Another lunch salad.
 A dinner salad.
Following by Annie's rolled chicken wrapped in bacon.
And wrapping it up with Annie's salad Nicoise.
Followed by a trifle which Annie said was "easy peasy".
This should provide some semblance of how wonderful the food was during our entire barging experience.
