Whew.  It's been a long day ... long night actually.  We have made it our hotel in Goteborg.  All flights were on time.  All connections were made.  And our luggage arrived as advertised.  But it was a very long flight (eight hours and fifteen minutes about) from Chicago to Copenhagen.  That is a long time to spend in the coach cabin.  Bev didn't get much sleep.  I slept from time to time but it was all broken up into segments.  SAS could put a little more cushioning in their seat bottoms or I need more cushioning in my seat bottom!  Otherwise, SAS did a very credible job given the number of people crammed into the space allotted.  A little after lunch, local time, we were strolling through the Copenhagen airport feeling like we were inside of a whale.
Our driver from Volvo met us at Landvetter airport outside of Goteborg and drove us to our hotel.
After settling in the Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel, courtesy of Volvo, we headed out to frequent an ATM and to purchase SIM cards for our iDevices.  That took way longer than it should have (an hour and half) but we are now, mostly, connected again.
We asked the concierge at the hotel for a recommendation for a local (this means seafood), casual restaurant.  She apparently heard "local" but maybe "casual" means something different to her than us (inexpensive).  Anyway, we had a delicious, lovely dinner at the Swedish Taste Restaurant across the street from the Swedish Opera House.  Great people watching.  And great food (Bev: lemon sole with white wine sauce; Bill: lamb, including the neck, with fennel and kale).
Now for some (better) sleep.  Tomorrow is explore Goteborg day.
