Reykjavik, a photography walk

Image
I'm out for a walk around Reykjavik on this, my penultimate day in Iceland.  Perhaps to make up for Iceland's long and dark winters, houses of Reykjavik are painted lively colors.  It is not Nyhavn but it is very pretty.  I pass a children's playground which I also find colorful and pretty. This is Oddakirkja which I think is the prettiest church today.  I am putting it first because I have noticed that Google features the very first photo in the blog entry.  Oddakirkja is located in Odda.  Odda is several kilometers off of the main highway.  You have to know about Odda to get here.  As far as I can tell, it is the only thing in Odda.  It is well preserved.  They have a large parking lot.  And most importantly for me, they have a WC. A rustic outbuilding at the church. Lambs.  Cute little lambs.  I have been seeing young lambs with their parents throughout the week.  They are so cute.  And they are very shy.  I
